Fees

A​ll therapy plans are tailored to your individual needs and discussed in advance. Fees reflect the time, expertise, and materials required for your care. You’ll always receive a clear explanation of costs before starting treatment, and full consent will be taken for any additional services, splints, or consumables.

Assessment & Treatment

I offer both home-based and virtual hand therapy sessions, providing flexible access to specialist rehabilitation in a comfortable, familiar setting. Session costs are the same for both formats to ensure equal access to high-quality care.

Initial Assessment & Treatment (up to 90 minutes): £120
A detailed evaluation of your condition, movement, and function, including goal-setting, education, and initial treatment.​

 

Follow-up Session (30–45 minutes): £75
Continued treatment to review progress, refine your plan, and build on exercises, scar care, or splinting as needed.

 

Additional Contact or Admin Time (per 15 min beyond 10 min): £20
For extended communication, report updates, or extra clinical support.

 

Travel for Home Visits

  • Local visits (within 20 minutes of Surbiton): no additional charge.

  • Extended travel (over 20 minutes each way): travel supplement may apply — typically 45p per mile plus £10 per additional 15 minutes of travel time.

 

All travel arrangements and any associated fees are confirmed in advance.

Custom Splints (Approximate Cost)

 Costs vary depending on size, material, and design and clinical requirements. Splint prices include fabrication, fitting, and education on wear and care.

Small splint: approximately £15  /  Medium splint: approximately £30  /  Large splint: approximately £50

 
Documentation & Professional Reports

Clinical Report or Summary Letter: £60 per hour
(used for progress summaries, return-to-work recommendations, or medico-legal updates)

GP/Consultant Letter: £15
A concise referral or update letter to ensure continuity of care.

 

 
Consumables (if required)

Specialist materials and consumables may occasionally be recommended as part of your treatment.
All items are optional and discussed before purchase.

Payment

Payment is due on the day of your appointment by cash or bank transfer.
Invoices and receipts are available on request.

 
Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a 50% session fee as outlined in the clinic’s terms and conditions.

 

Note: Prices are correct as of 2025 and reviewed annually.
All treatment plans and associated costs are confirmed before therapy begins.
